HP LaserJet Pro 300 Color M351 Paper Jams
Paper jams are usually associated with either paper feed issues or the fuser unit
- Paper feed issues, we carry in stock new HP LaserJet Pro 300 Color M351 paper feed tires to replace worn tires. When tires are worn they can leave a grey smudge on the top sheet of paper in the paper tray, this is caused by the worn roller slipping on the paper. Paper feed issues are synonymous with the jam indicator coming on but no paper being found in the printer.
- Fuser jams - the fuser unit is similar to an old fashioned mangle, with its rollers being heated to 200’ centigrade. The heat roller is covered with a Teflon film to prevent toner sticking to it. When the fuser film wears the Teflon allows the Toner to stick to it, this will cause paper jams. Fuser unit jams can result in concertinaed paper being found in the machine.
