Xerox VersaLink B7035 Details:

The Xerox VersaLink B7035 is a multifunctional machine with the ability to copy, print, and scan from the start. There is an option to add fax features, if needed. Ethernet connectivity is standard and there is the option to add wireless too.Warm up time is quick with first copies delivered in as little as 5.4 seconds. Multiple copies are output on the Xerox VersaLink B7035 at a rate of 35 pages per minute.

There is the option between a standard black toner (106R03393) and high-yield black toner (106R03394) that will supply approximately 15,500 pages vs. 31,000 pages at 5 percent coverage. With a robust monthly duty cycle recommendation of 15,000 pages, the Xerox VersaLink B7035 is able to keep up with heavy workloads.

Xerox VersaLink B7035 Paper Jams

Paper jams are usually associated with either paper feed issues or the fuser unit

• Paper feed issues, we carry in stock new Xerox VersaLink B7035 paper feed tires to replace worn tires. When tires are worn they can leave a grey smudge on the top sheet of paper in the paper tray, this is caused by the worn roller slipping on the paper. Paper feed issues are synonymous with the jam indicator coming on but no paper being found in the printer.
• Fuser jams - the fuser unit is similar to an old fashioned mangle, with its rollers being heated to 200’ centigrade. The heat roller is covered with a Teflon film to prevent toner sticking to it. When the fuser film wears the Teflon allows the Toner to stick to it, this will cause paper jams. Fuser unit jams can result in concertinaed paper being found in the machine.

Xerox VersaLink B7035 Print Quality Issues

Print quality issues can caused by several factors

• Poor quality consumables, toner cartridges can develop faults leading to print quality issues. Compatible cartridges give even more issues, make sure you purchase good quality consumables from a reputable source, we warrant our compatible cartridges for use in Xerox VersaLink B7035 printers.
• The Xerox VersaLink B7035 uses seperate drum units, these wear and will give issues with print quality.
• Contamination of the laser mirrors will lead to poor print quality, we can strip and clean your Xerox VersaLink B7035 printer optics.
• The Xerox VersaLink B7035 is prone to contamination of the Waste toner system on the Transfer Belt, as the name implies the Xerox VersaLink B7035 Transfer Belt combines black, cyan, magenta and yellow images on the belt to produce a full Color image. This is then transferred to the paper by the Secondary Transfer Roller, issues with the Transfer System will usually give smeared or banding issues. We can repair your Xerox VersaLink B7035 if it develops a Transfer Belt issue.
